These little loaves should be served warm and are lovely with any of my soups, salads or side dishes.
- 1 packet (250g) self-raising flour
- 1 packet (usually 55 g) white onion soup
- 1 tsp bicarb
- 1 cup finely grated cheese
- 500 ml buttermilk (or plain yoghurt)
- 1 Tbsp fresh thyme or rosemary, finely chopped
- pinch of salt
1. Mix all the ingredients well.
2. Pour into individual greased loaf tins.
2. Bake @ 180C for 50 minutes to one hour.
